    January 21, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM @ Central Congregational Church

    Central Congregational Church will hold free concert on January 21 at 3:00 pm. There is no admission fee but a voluntary offering will be taken. It will be Trio Amaranti which is an early music chamber ensemble that brings baroque chamber music to audiences across the United States. The trio uses the combination of two baroque flutes and a harpsichord to create unique and varied programs. Maria Gabriela Alvarado is a respected performer of baroque and modern flute. Mr. Adam Buttyan is an early woodwinds specialist and music scholar. Kyle Collins is a sought after harpsichordist and continuo player in the North Texas area. He makes the third member of the trio.     Join Dave Downs for a humorous, engaging, and informative presentation that will help you to fulfill that New Year's resolution once and for all and gain better control over clutter. He'll talk about several BIG reasons why Americans have so much STUFF: We might need it someday; We have grown children that have moved out and left their things behind; it just needs a little repair, are just a few reasons for our clutter problem. Decluttering is a process, not an event. Everyone is different, and there is more than one way to approach, manage and discard possessions. He'll discuss the pros and cons to selling, donating, giving away, throwing out and paying someone to take our stuff away. You'll leave the program with new ideas, methods and helpful hints, and a way to start to reverse the tendency to bury yourself in treasures!
